The only recording program that came installed on my pc is basic and has no functions other than record and delete. Thats nice, but I need something that actually records video. I will look at all the video programs listed. I depend a lot on YouTube instruction videos for that.helps me a lot.

I know some of the basic functions on that, but it gets too complicated when I need to figure out how to work certain aspects of it. Yeah, I'm using Audacity for my podcasts. I note your mention of podcasting (I assume this means audio podcasts, mp3 tracks of you talking which they can download and listen to at their leisure), if you need an audio editing program audacity is a very good free one to try if you need to clean up audio noise, add audio effects, adjust volumes or neatly splice sound clips together. Openshot is better for quickly putting together some clips and doing transitions/titles. Kdenlive is the more advanced one and might take longer to learn, but would make greenscren like effects easier to do well. Both free and open source and both pretty major projects being actively worked on. Openshot or kdenlive might be worth a try. /rebates/&.com252fvideo-editor252fopenshot-video-editor. I don't know if that can be done with a simple program or not, as I know even less about video than I do about podcasting at this point.Īny suggestions on super easy, FREE video recording/editing programs for Win 8.1?

The only effects I would like to be able to do is put images behind me, and also be able to put a moving picture on a moving background. I need a video recording program/editor that is extremely simple and easy for a dummy like me to use and understand. It doesn't have any features I need, and it really doesn't have any features at all. But the video program that came with the Win 8.1 on my pc is horrible. I have a craptastic webcam thats not to shabby. As I don't have the money or time to be doing advertising, I thought I might do a YouTube "commercial" of sorts. Unfortunately for my podcasting to go anywhere in the direction I want it to go, I need a LOT of subscribers. I work 6 days a week, and I'm trying to get into podcasting.doing that a couple times a month. For one, I don't have time to sit there and learn all of the thousands of little icons and buttons they have and what they do. Even though OpenShot doesnt show the graphical audio waveform yet, it still behaves like a real audio clip.

In addition, we must know that from here we will have the possibility to work with videos of high quality and resolution, even with 4K quality.

By duplicating the original video clip, it will have the exact same IN and OUT settings. Main features of the OpenShot video editor Therefore, it is worth knowing that in this case we find a video editing software that, with a little effort, gives us great results. So long as the video is hidden, it will behave just like an audio clip. I'm not super techie or anything, but I do have problems with these overly complicated programs. Its accomplished by duplicating a clip, and then clicking the Hide Video toggle button.
